It’s Time for Fall Fun in Knox County!

Fall is such a magical time of the year! A crispness in the air, football, campfires, colorful leaves, family fun, and pumpkin and apple picking, are just a few things we love about the season. And not only that, it’s also breast cancer awareness month and we have several services to offer you for your breast health.

What to do in Knox County this fall:

The Knox County Farmers Market – It’s still happening every Saturday through October. Get all of your local goodies and support the community. Don't forget to follow them on Facebook to stay up to date.

The Johnny Appleseed Apple Fest – Everything apple can be found at the family-friendly event in Downtown Mount Vernon on October 9th. All the details can be found on the event website HERE or on their Facebook page.

Bike-Knox Celebration – Is biking your thing? Sunday, Oct 10th, is a celebration of the Heart of Ohio Trail, Kokosing Gap Trails and Mohican Valley Trail anniversaries. Giveaways, celebrations and food trucks are part of this fun event. More event info HERE, and their Facebook page also has event details!

Halloween Hootenanny – Sunday, October 24th is the date to put on your calendar for this fun family-friendly event! Come in costume and enjoy this spooky event filled with fun, candy, games, activity stations and more. Information found on the events Facebook page.

Pick apples and pumpkins at these nearby orchards and farms. Nothing says fall like picking apples or searching the fields for pumpkins. Be sure to check out their websites for hours, availability and COVID protocols.
