Knox Public Health and local partners are working to develop an Active Transportation Plan. This plan will focus on identifying solutions that make walking, biking and using public transit safer and more accessible, which is important for physical and mental health and assisting residents in being able to get where they wish to go.

We have worked to identify this proposed draft bicycle and pedestrian improvement network, now we want to hear from you! Your input will ensure the plan represents what the community wants and needs.

To access the map of the proposed network, click HERE. Please comment on the addition or improvement of sidewalks, crosswalks, signage, bike lanes, trails and more throughout the county.

If you have questions or need help with the online map, please contact Tami Ruhl, KPH Creating Healthy Communities Coordinator, at 740.392.2200, Ext 2274 or This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
