3/9/21 - Knox Public Health will conduct a COVID-19 vaccine clinic on Wednesday (3/10) offering 600 doses of Pfizer vaccine on a first-come, first served basis. The clinic will take place at the Mount Vernon Energy Field House from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. or until all vaccine is distributed.

Currently, vaccination is open to those age 60 and older and those with certain medical conditions or job classifications as designated for Phases 1-A, 1-B and 1-C.

This is a walk-in clinic, however, for those unable to walk into the field house, curbside vaccination is available by notifying the parking attendant when you arrive at the clinic.

Clinic attendees will need to bring a photo ID and a copy of their insurance card. There are no out-of-pocket costs for the vaccine.

Vaccine consent forms are available on the health department website www.knoxhealth.com or can be picked up at the health department, 11660 Upper Gilchrist Rd., Mount Vernon. Having a completed consent form prior to arriving at the clinic expedites the check in process but is not necessary as there will be plenty of consent forms on site.
