Our Dental Clinics are available at Knox County Community Health Center and Knox County Dental. Did you know we have a full-time dentist, oral surgeon, dental assistants, and dental hygienists available for you and your children?

Payment Policy

  • Payment is due at time of service.
  • Minimum payment for self-pay patients is $20 for Dental.

  • Health Center staff can also assist patients with enrolling in health insurance or Medicaid if they qualify.
  • We accept Cigna Dental, Delta Dental, CareSource, Molina and All Ohio Medicaid Plans.
  • Patients are expected to pay the full sliding-fee-scale amount at the time of their appointment.
  • At the time your appointment is made, you will be told how much you can expect to pay. If for some reason we need to do a procedure that was not planned, and you cannot pay in full, a statement will be given to you. The remaining balance will need to be paid before another appointment can be scheduled.
  • KCCHC protects its patients from surprise medical bills for services and items provided by KCCHC through a combination of: compliance with requirements established under Section 330 of the Public Health Service Act and provision of Good Faith Estimates as outlined in Section 27966B-6 of the Federal No Surprises Act.

Our medical clinics at Knox County Community Health Center, Mount Vernon Health Center, Danville Community Health Center, & our Walk-In Clinic are all available for your child’s medical needs.

We offer:

  • Treatment of illnesses, such as earaches, colds, sore throats, infections, and more
  • Physical exams for school and sports
  • We-child exams
  • Lead testing
  • Immunizations for children including influenza, hepatitis, DTaP, MMR, Tdap, HPV, RSV, Rotavirus, IPV, and more
  • Tetanus shots
  • Nutrition counseling
  • Substance abuse treatment

Mental Health:

Counseling provides all individuals with an opportunity to work on emotional healing. With the support of a counselor, your child can work through whatever difficulties are affecting their lives. Counseling is available at Knox County Community Health Center, Mount Vernon Health Center, and Danville Community Health Center.

We offer:

  • Therapy for Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, Anger Management, Grief, and more
  • Individual counseling for all ages
  • Play therapy for children
  • Diagnostic assessments
  • Substance Use Disorder counseling for adolescents
  • Case management

Payment Policy

  • Payment is due at time of service.
  • A sliding fee schedule is offered to all patients.
  • Minimum payment for self-pay patients is $10 for counseling services.

  • Health Center staff can also assist patients with enrolling in health insurance or Medicaid if they qualify.

We also offer the Children with Medical Handicaps program. We don’t want you to feel alone if you have a child with medical handicaps. We know that it is a full-time job caring for your child and you may feel that you have no one in your corner.
