Ohio's New Indoor Clean Air Law
Ohio’s indoor clean air law is now being enforced. This new law requires “public places” and “places of employment” be smoke free. Find out more on the new law and how it will be enforced locally.

New Sewage Regulations
With the passage of House Bill 119 which rescinded Section 3701-29
of the Ohio Administrative Code, the Knox County Board of Health
has adopted revisions to Board Regulation 801 which governs sewage regulations. The Board of Health will receive public comment on the revised regulation during the Sept. 26, 2007 board meeting beginning at 7:30 p.m.

A three-day conference on issues affecting youth.
Sponsored by Community Mental Health & Recovery Board, United Way of Knox County, Mount Builders Guidance Center and Mount Vernon Nazarene Univerity. Geared toward teachers, guidance counselors, court workders, social workders, scout leaders, church youth directors and others who work with youth. 30 sessions from which to choose.
