Help Me Grow is a free program for expectant parents, infants and toddlers that provides health and development services so that children start school healthy and ready to learn.

Help Me Grow promotes the well-being of young children through home visits, specialized services and public awareness with a special emphasis on early intervention and prevention.

Services are designed with your family's concerns and goals in mind.

Help Me Grow can help you by:

  • Checking to make sure your child is developing normally for their age including proper movement, hearing, vision, learning and talking
  • Helping to find a doctor for you and your children
  • Offering advice for discipline problems, potty-training and other behavior issues

Help Me Grow believes that parents are the best teachers for their children and will give you the best tools to help your child learn and grow up to be a healthy and happy.

Who is eligible?

  • Pregnant women
  • Newborns, infants and toddlers under the age of three and their families.

What services does Help Me Grow provide?

  • A toll-free phone number that gives referrals to your family
    1-800-755-GROW
  • Answers to questions about your infant or toddler's health
    and well-being.
  • Support and information about your infant or toddler's immunization, nutrition and development.
  • Help Me Grow offers and brings together special services such as prenatal visits, home visiting and family support to your family and children.

How can I get involved with Help Me Grow?
If you are pregnant or already have a child or children under 3-years of age, you may automatically qualify for Help Me Grow Services.

Help Me Grow begins with a home visit by a service coordinator. The service coordinator will work with you and your family in addressing any problems, issues or unmet needs that may be hindering you from giving your child the best possible start in life.
