Prevention is a key component
of programming at the Health Department and the Health Promotions Services Division helps put that component into practice. The division staff manages eight grants, coordinates two coalitions and three advisory groups; oversees the health department's participation at local events such as the county fair, community festivals and health fairs; plus coordinates all promotion and new coverage of health department services and programs.

Educational programming is available for classrooms or to individual groups such as scout groups, service groups, social clubs and work groups.
